What this notice is about

On two pages of the website you can leave personal details: the volunteering page and the contact page. This notice explains what is done with them, to whom they are transferred, and what rights are available to anyone who provided them. It was written in accordance with Section 11 of the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, as worded following Amendment 13, which entered into force on 14 August 2025.

This notice applies to these two forms only. The rest of the website's pages ask nothing of you and collect nothing about you.

The two forms differ from each other in one key respect, which is worth noting before reading on: details provided in the volunteer form are transferred to one party that you choose, whereas a message sent via the contact form is not transferred to any party. Each of them has its own section below.

Providing details is voluntary

There is no legal obligation to provide the details. Providing them depends solely on your volition and consent.

If you choose not to provide them, you will lose nothing and can continue reading every page on the website. The only consequence is that we will not be able to forward your enquiry to any party, and no one will contact you regarding volunteering — and with the contact form, that we will not be able to read what you wished to submit.

Why the details are requested

In the volunteer form, the sole purpose is to transfer your details to one party, the one you choose, so that it can contact you regarding volunteering ahead of the elections to the Knesset to be held on Tuesday, 27 October 2026.

In the contact form, the sole purpose is to allow the joint headquarters to read your message and get back to you regarding it, if required.

The details are not used for any other purpose. They are not sold, rented, or transferred to any party — except for transferring a volunteer's details to the party they chose, which is the entire purpose of the volunteer form, and the services operating the forms and spreadsheets, Tally and Google, detailed below.

Who is responsible for the information

The controller of the database is the joint headquarters of the list, established for the elections to the Knesset on 27 October 2026. Its contact person is מאוריסיו לפצ׳יק.

The postal address for sending mail to the joint headquarters is Hadash's registered address: אחד העם 70, תל אביב.

What exactly is submitted in the volunteer form

These are all the details the form requests, and there are none besides them:

The choice of party is information about political opinion. The law defines such information as information of special sensitivity, and applies stricter protection to it than that applying to ordinary information. The party is chosen on the website before the form opens: each party has its own form, and therefore the form you filled in is itself the choice of a single party.

The form itself is operated on the Tally service, belonging to Tally BV of Belgium. The details are stored with it, in the joint headquarters' account, on servers in Europe, and encrypted. In addition to the fields above, the time of submission is recorded.

Like any internet service, Tally processes the requests your browser sends to it, including the IP address. What it retains of them and for how long is subject to its privacy policy and not this policy. Tally uses service providers of its own, some in the United States, including Sentry, an error-tracking service to which the form page connects.

To whom the details are transferred

The details are transferred to one party only, the one you select in the form, for the purpose of contacting you regarding volunteering. They are not transferred to the other two parties. The three parties running on the list are:

From Tally, the details are copied to a Google Sheets spreadsheet belonging to the party you chose, which only it is authorised to read.

There is no option of choosing without preference, and this is intentional. Transferring an individual's details to three parties without them requesting it is precisely what the law is designed to prevent, and choosing a single party is what makes the consent explicit.

From the moment the details are transferred to the party you chose, the party itself is responsible for them, and its privacy policy is what applies to them from that point forward.

Privacy enquiries to each of the three parties may be sent to the same address: אחד העם 70, תל אביב.

The contact form

The form on the "Contact" page requests four things only: full name, telephone, email, and the message itself. In addition to these, the time of submission is recorded. This form too is operated on Tally, as described above.

A message sent via this form is not transferred to any of the three parties. It is stored in Tally, in the joint headquarters' account, and copied to a Google Sheets spreadsheet that only the headquarters' contact person, מאוריסיו לפצ׳יק, is authorised to read, so that it can be read and answered.

The content of the message is whatever you choose to write in it. We do not request sensitive details in it and do not need them; if you choose to write such details in it, they will be saved as part of the message and deleted together with it.

Messages are retained for the same period as volunteer details — up to six months after election day — and are then deleted. The rights detailed below apply to them in full: you may inspect a submitted message, request its correction, and request its deletion.

The website does not guarantee a reply to a message, nor does it guarantee a timeframe. For routine activity it is better to contact the parties directly, as stated at the top of the contact page.

How long the details are retained

The copies held by the joint headquarters, in Tally and in spreadsheets, are retained for up to six months after election day, that is, until 27 April 2027, and are then deleted. This period is intended to allow replies to enquiries and questions arising after the election — for instance, a request for inspection, a request for deletion, or a query from someone who provided details and was not contacted.

The deletion is an actual deletion, not hiding: the record is deleted from Tally and from the spreadsheet, including its version history. Tally also deletes a deleted record from its backups within 90 days.

What has already been decided: on election day both forms will close, and the website will continue serving the information pages only. Closing a form does not delete details that have already been submitted — that is what this section is for.

Details that have already been transferred to the party you chose are not deleted in this deletion. From the moment of transfer, they are the responsibility of that party, and its privacy policy is what applies to them.

Your rights

Under Section 13 of the law, every person is entitled to inspect the personal information held about them in a database. The law explicitly stipulates that inspection shall be made possible in Hebrew, Arabic, or English.

Under Section 14 of the law, anyone who has inspected information and found it to be incorrect, incomplete, unclear, or outdated may request that it be corrected or deleted.

You may also withdraw consent at any time and request not to be contacted further.

Under Section 13(b) of the law, inspection will be made possible in Hebrew, Arabic, or English — in any of the three languages.

What the website does not do

There are no measurement services, no advertising, and no tracking components of any kind on the website. The previous version of the website carried Google Ads, Google Analytics, and a Facebook pixel. These were removed intentionally and will not be restored.

The website does not load fonts, scripts, or images from third-party servers, and does not itself place cookies in your browser — with the exception of the forms themselves. On the contact page, and on the volunteer page after you choose a party, the form and its script are loaded from Tally, and the form page operates according to Tally's privacy policy.

There are no donations on this website. Each of the three parties raises funds on its own, and the website does not collect payment details and does not transfer funds.

The voters' register does not reach this website and is not stored on it. The flow of information is strictly one-way: from the person who chose to volunteer to the party they chose, and never in the opposite direction.

The forms do not save what you have typed on your device. Tally's option to save a form midway and continue later is disabled on all forms, intentionally, so that nothing remains on a shared device.

And finally, regarding requests for the website's pages themselves: the website is hosted on Cloudflare and is served as files only — there is no code running on request, no request logging enabled by the joint headquarters, and no forwarding of request logs to the joint headquarters. As the infrastructure service serving the pages, Cloudflare processes requests and maintains its own statistical data; what it retains and for how long is subject to its policy and not this policy, and does not reach the joint headquarters.
